What is TEDx ?

TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxJSSMC, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxJSSMC event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized

 CERTAINTY

THE EDGE OF

We grow up believing that having the right answers is everything, that certainty is strength.

That being sure means being safe but real life rarely fits into neat boxes and the most meaningful moments often begin when certainty ends.

This theme invites us to stand in that space where clarity ends and something more honest begins. It is where we start to ask questions we never thought to ask, where curiosity replaces conclusion, and where growth begins not with answers, but with wonder.

The edge of certainty is not the end of knowledge. It is the beginning of wisdom, it is where new ideas are born, where true empathy takes root, and where we begin to see the world not just as it is, but as it could be.
